Supervision of S. Projects
1: Contribution to student activities and projects: Prepare my semester 8 students to participate in HCT student Conference. My EDU 4503 students participated in HCT students conference (see below list of semester- 8 students participated in the conference, yellow highlights) _202120
2: I presented HCT internationally as a country coordinator of the 9th International Conference on Education (ICEDU)_ 202210, 202220 scheduled to be held on the 16th – 17th March 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand. My role was effective from the 14th October 2022 to the 31st March 2023. I also encouraged my semester 7 students of EDU 4003 course to apply and present their research proposals in the conference in order to be exposed to academia and get feedback to improve their research practices.
3: Engages students in and out of the classroom in an active examination of the top_ STEM Future Teachers Event
I have trained all my students of class ECE 2123 to lead a new event in HCT which is STEM Future teachers’ event where ECE students, where invited to participate in STEM activities. In addition to train my students of class EPC 3403 to host the event and participate effectively with the visiting teachers to facilitate and support the active learning environment.
4: I supported two of my semester 8 students (Shaikha AlShamsi and Noura Shanwan) to submit their abstracts to an international conference (ICEDU 2023). Their abstracts got accepted to be presented in the International Conference on Education (ICEDU 2023) on March, 16-17th. I am coauthoring their research studies to be published.
